For the first part of our The Real Ghostbusters anniversary celebration, we present to you the original promo pilot. To sell the concept of a Ghostbusters cartoon, producers
commissioned a short reel that would showcase how the characters looked,
behaved and interacted to their world. Interesting note: even though the distinctive
re-recording of the theme can be heard throughout every episode, this is the
only place to hear the entire version of the song with words.
Remember that one day when you could wake up without an alarm? When you would get your favorite bowl of cereal and sit between the hours of 8 and 12? This is a blog dedicated to the greatest time of our childhood: Saturday mornings.
